Information We Collect
We collect account information such as email address, authentication identifiers, subscription status, usage counters, selected language and Bible preferences, and messages you submit for guidance. If you use Sign in with Apple, Apple may provide an account identifier and, when shared, your email address.
How We Use Information
We use information to operate VerseMentor, authenticate users, provide Bible-guidance responses, enforce usage limits, manage subscriptions, improve reliability, protect the service, and respond to support or legal requests.
AI Processing
Your guidance requests may be processed by AI model providers and cloud infrastructure used to operate the service. We design the system to retrieve relevant Bible material and limit responses to the guidance context.
Chat History and Memory
The iOS app stores chat history privately for the signed-in user on the device. The app may send recent context or compacted memory to the backend to provide more coherent responses. You can clear chat history in settings.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers such as cloud hosting, authentication, AI model, analytics, payment platform, and app-store providers when needed to operate VerseMentor.
Retention and Deletion
When you request account deletion, login is deactivated and account information is scheduled for deletion after 14 days, subject to legal, billing, security, or abuse-prevention requirements. Local chat history can be cleared from the app settings.
Security
We use authentication, access controls, and cloud security features to protect information, but no system can be guaranteed completely secure.
